Joshua Bloom
Joshua Bloom always had a passion for pursuing the rights of working people. He received his undergraduate degree in history with a concentration in the labor movement during 1993 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. During law school, he focused his studies on the rights of working people and graduated with honors from the Capital University Law School in 1996.
Mr. Bloom is well known for his representation of the rights of labor organizations and individuals who have been wronged or injured. Collectively, he has handled hundreds of jury trials, bench trials, arbitration trials, and federal and state administrative hearings. He is faculty to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and he frequently lectures nationally and locally to attorneys on the subjects of overtime compensation, union rights, litigation and free speech. Mr. Bloom is admitted to the Pennsylvania state and federal courts and has been admitted to practice in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Jonathan Colton
Jonathan Colton's devotion to representing, protecting and understanding the rights of workers is rooted in his family history. Mr. Colton's grandfather worked as a union welder in and around Philadelphia for many years; his great uncle participated in one of the longest strikes in labor history — a 156-day strike of Westinghouse in 1955-56; and his father, a retired teacher of 35 years, was an active member in the PSEA and NEA, serving as his local union's president, treasurer and chief negotiator.
In 2000, Mr. Colton attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Civil Litigation in 2003. Mr. Colton is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Allegheny County Bar Association.
